A Management Plan That Actually Gets Executed

We organize every acre by soil and land type, write a five-year work order, and then go do the work. Our plans are not consultingreports that sit in a drawer.

What a Management Plan Is

Five-Year Living Work Orders That Carry Real Value, Not Stale Novels That Are a Fantasy.

Our management plans inventory every acre, sort it by soil and land type, and prescribe specifically for each one. Pine plantation gets a thinning, chemical release, and burn. Longleaf gets an establishment and release burn plan. Native prairie gets checkerboard burn units maximizing forage. Bottomland hardwood stands get TSI favoring oak and mast production. Every acre is prescribed with the understanding of God’s design and how can we make it practically function to meet your goals.
Pine Plantation
Thinning, burning, chemical release, harvest scheduling, replanting
Longleaf
Establishment, release burns, savannah maintenance, legacy stands
Natural & Bottomland Hardwood

Native Prairie & Open Land
Ecosystem restoration, checkerboard burn units, hedgerows
Food Plots
Design, expansion, planting systems, hunting layout

The Second Half: The Stewardship Program

Plan it. Execute It. Monitor It.

Consultation & Planning

Every management plan is followed by our Stewardship Program: quarterly property health assessments where survey the property, run browse surveys, document invasive pressure, evaluate stand and habitat condition, and adjust the plan as the land responds.

Management plans are living guides, so we monitor and make calculated adjustments to ensure your land continues to improve as it responds to management activities and natural occurrences.

Why Our Prescriptions Are Worth More

We Have Done This Work, Not Just Written About It

Our team has bought timber for mills, sold timber for private landowners, run logging crews, managed contract crews, and worked loblolly, shortleaf, slash, longleaf, hardwood, and prairies ecosystems across the full range of operations. We have done aerial application by helicopter and drone, ground application, machine and hand planting, fertilization, and pruning. We have worked as individual caretakers running tractors and dozers to managers of employees over multiple properties. All team members have college education in either wildlife, forestry, or a combination of both. We have years of experience with prescribed fire. When we get off work, we still go to the woods because we all have God given passions that are found in the outdoors. Our people make our prescriptions different.

Many prescriptions we see from competitors are good ideas from people who have never had to get them done or from people who know how to get things done, but do not understand the science. We understand both and are passionate about bringing you value.

What the Plan Includes

Landowner Objectives and Scope
We start with what you want your land to do. Every prescription in the plan is tied back to your stated goals, whether that is quail, timber income, deer, or all three.
Property Description with Locator and Boundary Maps
A full written description of the property with maps showing boundaries, interior roads, water features, and stand locations so every prescription has a place on the ground.
Topography, Water Features, and Soils Analysis
We evaluate drainage patterns, soil productivity ratings, and site index so prescriptions match what the land can actually support rather than what looks good on paper.
Land-Type Acreage Breakdowns
Every acre is sorted and measured by land type: pine plantation, longleaf, hardwood, native prairie, food plots, wetlands, and roads. That breakdown is the foundation every prescription is built on.
Stand-by-Stand and Unit-by-Unit Prescriptions with Dates
Each stand or management unit gets its own prescription with a target completion window. Not general recommendations. Specific work, specific timing.
Five-Plus Year Scheduled Sequence of Work
The full plan lays out the sequence of work across five or more years so you always know what is coming, what depends on what, and how each phase builds toward the next.
Invasive Species Assessment and Control Plan
We inventory invasive pressure across the property and build a multi-year control strategy into the plan. Cogongrass, privet, Chinese tallow, and kudzu do not wait, and neither does the plan.
Deer Population and Predator Management Recommendations
We assess deer density and predator pressure and give you a harvest strategy and management plan to match your land's capacity and your hunting goals.
